I Love Tofu & BBQ is a restaurant offering Korean cuisine. The main attraction is their tofu dishes.

Address: 126 N Bran  Boulevard, Glendale, CA 91203. They are located in downtown Glendale.

For starters, you get side dishes called banchan which are served in small bowls. You get several side dishes like kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled cucumber, potato salad and sometimes seaweed.

For my meal, I ordered the spicy beef soup which came with a side of white rice. It comes in different levels of spiciness, I ordered mild. The soup is made up with shredded beef and vegetables (bean sprout, green onion) and glass noodles. I couldn’t tell what the other vegetables are. Overall, the soup is very tasty and good. It is highly recommended.

On my next visit I will have their main feature: tufo stew. They have 13 different kinds of tufo stew. white tufo, combination (beef, clam, shrimp, oyster), kimchi, clam, pork, ham & sausage, dumpling, vegetable (mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower), seafood (clam, oyster, shrimp), oyster, beef, soybean (mushroom, clam, beef), and curry. It comes with a side of rice. They have 2 kionds, white and black. The stew comes in a very hot pot and raw egg is added before eating. The stew is hot enough to cook the raw egg. They also come in several levels of spiciness.

The Special Menu section is mostly Japanese influenced except the BBQ Short Ribs, Bulgogi and Spicy Pork. The rest are Japanese, like Tempura, Bibimbab.

The service is very good. The owner also works at the place and she is very sweet. The staff are all friendly with great sense of humor.

The restaurant is very clean, rest room is super clean and it doesn’t smell like a rest room.

Overall, I Love Tofu & BBQ is highly recommended for Korean food. The food is excellent and their service is fast and friendly. It is worth going back.

Parking is not a problem There’s a parking structure at the back of the restaurant which is free for the first 2 hours with validation.
