Thai restaurants are perhaps one of the most popular Asian restaurants in Southern California after Japanese and Chinese restaurants.

I have been going to Indra Thai Restaurant in Glendale for years. Indra is a small family owned Thai restaurant in Glendale. Being a family owned restaurant, the staff is really nice and friendly; most of the servers have been working there for years.

For this review I had the chicken rice soup and the broccoli with oyster sauce. The chicken rice soup is not listed on their menu but they would be glad to prepare if ordered. It is a soup with slices of chicken cooked in a clear broth with steam rice and bok choy. It is garnished with green onions and toasted garlic. It is savory and really a very good soup.

For the broccoli with oyster sauce, it is thin slices of beef, sautéed and cooked with broccoli and oyster sauce. The broccoli is half cooked which is really nice and crunchy. The oyster sauce is really good. The dish comes with steamed Jasmine rice. I order this most of the time.

I ordered the boba ice tea. I have never ordered this before and I am not a fan of their boba; it is overly sweet.

Overall, Indra Thai Restaurant is a nice place to have Thai food in Glendale/Eagle Rock area.
